The creative partnership between French luxury shoemaker J.M. Weston and Japanese fashion powerhouse sacai, led by designer Chitose Abe, has returned for a third consecutive season. The new capsule collection was unveiled during sacai’s Autumn/Winter 2025/2026 show and became available to the public starting November 7, 2025. This third installment masterfully continues to deconstruct and reimagine classic footwear through an avant-garde lens.
The Sacai J.M. Weston Third Collection focuses on giving two of J.M. Weston’s most iconic genderless silhouettes a radical update: the 180 Loafer and the 641 Golf Derby. Both models retain their artisanal French construction but are dramatically redefined by two signature elements of the collaboration. The most striking is the use of bold, printed cowhide leather uppers, which offers a daring contrast to the traditional smooth calfskin.
The second defining feature is the oversized sole a recognizable hallmark of the sacai collaboration which provides a contemporary, elevated volume to the otherwise classic structure. The 180 Loafer receives a subtle nod to the penny loafer with a gold-tone plate engraved with “sacai” positioned on the seagull strap, blending heritage detail with modern branding.
By pairing J.M. Weston’s centuries-old reputation for flawless craftsmanship with sacai’s experimental design language, the Sacai J.M. Weston Third Collection successfully creates footwear that is both rooted in tradition and distinctly forward-thinking. This new capsule is essential for enthusiasts seeking to fuse classic French elegance with Tokyoite street-ready creativity.
