Selena Gomez has revealed the one condition that could get her back on tour — performing her empowering hit Who Says.
Speaking on the Therapuss podcast, the 33-year-old singer and actress called the track from her When the Sun Goes Down album “the most powerful moment” of her shows. She admitted it’s the onlyreason she’d consider touring again, even though she hasn’t hit the road since 2016.
“If I did it now, I’d have to take it down an octave for every year since I last sang it,” she joked, adding she might even re-record the song. Selena confessed she once teared up hearing it on the radio because it reminded her of the younger self who first delivered those uplifting lyrics.
This year, Selena and her fiancé Benny Blanco released their joint album I Said I Love You First, a project born from raw, everyday conversations. Benny even revealed he often jotted down Selena’s candid words, turning them into heartfelt song lines.
Looks like if fans want to see Selena back on stage, they’ll need to chant just two words: Who Says.
