Spotify Wrapped 2025 Preparations Begin: Artists Face November 14 Video Deadline

The annual countdown to the music industry’s biggest marketing event has officially begun. Spotify Wrapped 2025 Preparations are in full swing, with the streaming giant setting strict deadlines for content creators ahead of the campaign’s massive public launch. The event, which generates enormous social media engagement, will once again offer users a detailed personalized summary of their listening habits throughout the year.

The clearest signal that data finalization is imminent is the deadline given to artists. Content creators worldwide have been notified that they must upload a personalized 3 to 30-second video Clip via the Spotify for Artists dashboard no later than November 14, 2025. These Clips are a crucial component of the personalized user experience, allowing top artists to deliver direct thank-you messages to their most dedicated fans.

While Spotify never publicly reveals the exact data cut-off date, preparations suggest the tracking window is rapidly closing. Historically, the platform stops collecting user listening data sometime between November 10 and November 20, allowing the company sufficient time to process and generate the billions of individualized data stories. Any listening activity after this period will be counted toward the 2026 Wrapped campaign.

With the necessary data processed, Spotify Wrapped 2025 Preparations point to an anticipated launch in the first week of December. Users can look forward to familiar features like their Top Songs and Genres, as well as likely new introductions, such as updated “Listening Personality” insights and deeper integration with Spotify’s AI DJ feature. The stage is set for yet another dominant force in end-of-year media.
