Suki Waterhouse recently pulled a playful prank on her fiancé, Robert Pattinson, by pitching the idea that they should co-host Netflix’s hit dating show Love Is Blind together.
In a lighthearted video for Elle, Waterhouse prank-called Pattinson and suggested they take over hosting duties from current hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey. The conversation started affectionately, with Waterhouse calling Pattinson “Darling” and Pattinson responding with “My love.” She then asked if he remembered Love Is Blind, describing it as a “beautiful sociological experiment.” Pattinson, 38, sounded intrigued but slightly baffled, humorously asking, “Darling, have you gone mad?”
Waterhouse, 32, pressed on with the joke, continuing to suggest they become the show’s new hosts. As Pattinson began catching on, he asked, “Are you joking? Is this whole thing a joke?” After confirming it was, Waterhouse playfully ended the call, reminding him that if they ever did it, he’d only be on the internet, not TV.
The couple, who started dating in 2018, got engaged in December 2023 and welcomed their first child, a daughter, in March 2024.
