Taylor Swift has been granted a temporary restraining order against a Colorado man, Brian Jason Wagner, who allegedly showed up at her Los Angeles home multiple times, claiming the pop star is the mother of his child and insisting on seeing her in person.
According to legal documents obtained by Page Six, the 35-year-old singer stated that Wagner had made delusional and disturbing claims, including:
• Believing he was in a relationship with her
• Claiming Swift is the mother of his son
• Repeatedly visiting her property, sometimes carrying what appeared to be a glass bottle that “could have been used as a weapon”
Swift detailed that Wagner first came to her LA residence in 2024 and returned several timesthat July. He resurfaced in May 2025, claiming he was “checking on a friend,” which she confirmed was entirely false.
Even more alarming, her security team discovered Wagner had:
• Previously been incarcerated
• Written lengthy prison letters filled with disturbing fabrications about a romantic relationship
• Allegedly added Swift’s address to his driver’s license
• Attempted to forward her mail to his own residence
• Emailed threats to her staff
“I have no relationship with Mr. Wagner and I have never met nor communicated with him,” Swift stated in the filing, adding that she harbors a “fear of imminent harm.”
The court granted the restraining order on Monday, June 9, which will remain in effect until June 30. A hearing may extend the order further.
Swift has unfortunately faced similar security threats in the past, with multiple individuals arrested for trespassing or attempting to get close to her. Despite her efforts to maintain privacy and safety, the incident is yet another troubling reminder of the dangers celebrities often face.
