Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, widely known as Tems, has shared her admiration for controversial American rapper Kanye West. In a recent episode of the ‘Shopping The Sneakers’ podcast, Tems expressed her fondness for Kanye, saying, “I love Kanye [West]. I relate to him sometimes.”
Tems also discussed her close friendship with American R&B star Brent Faiyaz, revealing, “Brent Faiyaz is my very good friend. I have known him since like 2021. He is a real one. He is always supportive. I have a couple of artists I’m close to and he’s one of them.”
In addition to her personal insights, Tems has achieved a significant milestone in her music career. She has become the first female Nigerian artist to surpass 1 billion solo streams on Spotify, a feat accomplished with the release of her debut album, ‘Born In The Wild.’
