Tori Kelly Is Pregnant with Her First Child: “We Can’t Wait to Meet This Little Gift from God”

Singer-songwriter Tori Kelly has announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Andre Murillo, marking a joyful new chapter in their lives. The 32-year-old Grammy winner, who tied the knot with the German basketball player in May 2018, shared the heartwarming news exclusively with Peoplemagazine.

Currently on tour in Europe with Ed Sheeran, Tori reflected on the whirlwind year she’s had. “This year has already been full of highs — getting to perform in stadiums all summer, writing the most personal songs of my career, and now getting to start a family with my amazing husband,” she said. “We are just so grateful for what’s to come and can’t wait to meet this little gift from God.”

To celebrate the announcement, Tori released a touching video of herself and Andre spending time at home and on the beach, soundtracked by a new song that captures the intimacy and excitement of impending parenthood. With lyrics like “Let’s make a baby” and “We’ve been through it… I’m ready for what comes next,” the emotional track gives fans a glimpse into her most personal journey yet.

This happy news comes nearly two years after Tori’s frightening health scare in 2023, when she was hospitalized with life-threatening blood clots. At the time, she admitted the experience made her more grateful for the simple things in life. “I don’t want to take anything for granted because life, as I now have experienced, is so fragile,” she shared. “I’m just holding people a little closer.”

Tori, who first captured hearts on American Idol and has since become a beloved voice in music and film (SingSing 2), reassured fans she’s feeling “amazing” these days and is managing her health with regular checkups and medication.

As she steps into this new phase as a mother, Tori Kelly continues to inspire — blending vulnerability, strength, and joy in every note and moment she shares.
