Tory Lanez Drops New Prison Album ‘PETERSON’, Calls Out Roc Nation & Megan Thee Stallion in “Verdict Day”

Tory Lanez isn’t letting prison silence him — instead, he’s using his time behind bars to air out his frustrations through music. The rapper recorded his highly anticipated album ‘PETERSON’ from behind prison walls in just three weeks, delivering one of his most controversial projects yet.

On the track “Verdict Day”, Lanez opens up about his legal battles, sentencing, and the role he believes Roc Nation played in his downfall. He directly accuses the label — which represents Megan Thee Stallion — of orchestrating his prison sentence by manipulating his legal team.

In the song, Lanez alleges that his former attorney Shawn Holley was secretly working in favor of Roc Nation, not him.

“Y’all had my lawyer in y’all pocket, she circling T’s,

That’s why Megan always talked like jail was certain for me.”

The rapper even hints that Roc Nation paid to ensure he received 10 years behind bars following his conviction for shooting Megan Thee Stallion in 2020.

Aside from his legal claims, Lanez throws jabs at Megan once again, fueling their ongoing battle in the court of public opinion. He also touches on rumors of paying bloggers to spread false narratives about the case — something he’s been accused of multiple times.

Despite his incarceration, Tory Lanez remains defiant, using ‘PETERSON’ to tell his side of the story while taking aim at those he feels betrayed him.

Do you think Tory Lanez is exposing the truth — or just playing the victim?
