Tragic Loss on the Pitch: Former Ghana Star Raphael Dwamena Passes Away at 28
In a heartbreaking turn of events, former Ghanaian forward Raphael Dwamena, aged 28, met an untimely demise on the football field while playing for a local team in Albania. The Albanian Football Federation confirmed the tragic incident in a statement, revealing that Dwamena lost consciousness during the match, prompting immediate medical attention and his subsequent transfer to the hospital.
“Despite the immediate intervention of specialist doctors and all efforts to bring him back to life, the footballer unfortunately passed away,” lamented the federation.
