South African music star Tyla is officially joining the lineup for Travis Scott and Cactus Jack’s hotly anticipated compilation album, “JACKBOYS 2.”
Slated to drop in July 2025, the album is the follow-up to the 2019 Billboard No. 1 smash “JACKBOYS,” and this sequel promises to be even bigger, louder, and more global.
Tyla’s addition has been heavily rumored for weeks, but multiple sources have now confirmed her involvement. Known for her rich fusion of Afropop, R&B, and amapiano, the Grammy-winning singer is expected to bring an unmistakable flavor to the trap-heavy sound of the JACKBOYS universe.
The upcoming project boasts a massive and diverse cast of collaborators, including:
Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, SoFaygo, Wallie the Sensei, 21 Savage, Vybz Kartel, SahBabii, Waka Flocka Flame, GloRilla, and Kodak Black—with Tyla adding a global edge to the genre-spanning lineup.
Promos for JACKBOYS 2 have been building steadily since late 2024, with Travis and the Cactus Jack crew teasing sessions, snippets, and features across social media.
For Tyla, this marks yet another major career milestone following her meteoric rise from viral hitmaker to international pop force. Her presence on one of hip-hop’s most anticipated collaborative projects only reinforces her position as a global trendsetter and genre-bender.
With a fire cast, high expectations, and Tyla in the mix, “JACKBOYS 2” is shaping up to be one of the defining music drops of 2025.
