Music executive Ubi Franklin has addressed public misconceptions about his relationship with Grammy-nominated artist Davido. In response to a fan’s claim that he serves as Chioma’s personal assistant, Franklin clarified that he is not part of Davido’s management team.
The clarification comes after Franklin announced that he is writing a book to set the record straight about his professional life. He acknowledged Davido’s impressive management team, praising their success and efficiency, but emphasized his own role as the founder of Mademen Music G.
Franklin further stated that if he were indeed involved with Davido’s management, he would have the necessary qualifications to do so. In a tweet, he noted, “Davido’s setup and brand are something anyone would be proud to work for,” and reaffirmed that his work is focused on the business side of the music industry, not personal duties.
He also revealed plans for the relaunch of Mademen Music G in the coming year, drawing on his two decades of experience.
