Victor Osimhen Shines in Galatasaray’s 5-1 Derby Triumph Over Fenerbahçe

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen delivered a spectacular performance, scoring twice to lead Galatasaray to an emphatic 5-1 victory over Fenerbahçe in the Turkish Süper Lig on Sunday. The win, reported by The Punch, strengthens Galatasaray’s grip on top spot in the league.

Osimhen wasted no time making an impact, converting a penalty in the 4th minute to give Galatasaray an early lead. He doubled his tally in the second half, scoring his team’s fourth goal, ensuring their dominance. Barış Alper Yılmaz also impressed, netting two goals (29th and 87th minutes), while Yunus Akgün added another in the 51st minute.

This victory extends Galatasaray’s remarkable unbeaten streak to 18 consecutive away wins, and with 44 points, they remain in control of the Süper Lig. The team also boasts an undefeated record in the Europa League, a testament to their formidable form under coach Okan Buruk.
