Victor Osimhen’s Agent Sends Strong Message to Napoli: Star Striker Isn’t Going Anywhere

Victor Osimhen’s future at Napoli remains firmly in Europe, according to his agent, Roberto Calenda, who has issued a stern warning to the club amidst transfer rumors. Despite a lucrative €65 million offer from Saudi club Al Ahli, the Nigerian international has made it clear that a move to the Middle East is not in his plans.

Osimhen, who has been linked with top European clubs, including Chelsea, is focused on continuing his career in Europe. Calenda emphasized that Osimhen is not just a “package to be shipped far away to make room for new prophets,” underscoring the striker’s determination to stay at the top of the European football scene.

“Victor still has so much to do in Europe,” Calenda stated, highlighting the player’s ongoing commitment to Napoli, where he recently renewed his contract with mutual satisfaction. The agent also pointed out Osimhen’s achievements, including being named African Footballer of the Year and finishing 8th in the Ballon d’Or rankings.

Osimhen, who has yet to feature in a Napoli game under new coach Antonio Conte this season, remains a key figure in the team. His contract, which runs until June 2026, includes a €130 million release clause, reflecting his high value on the market.

With major European clubs circling, Napoli must tread carefully as Osimhen’s career continues to ascend, with the player and his agent insisting on respect and balance in any future negotiations.
