Where Is Fred Savage Now? Former Child Star’s Life 3 Years After Firing

1. Out of the Spotlight, into Entrepreneurship

As of September 2025, Fred Savage has largely stepped away from acting and directing following a string of misconduct allegations most notably his dismissal from The Wonder Years reboot in 2022. 

Instead, he’s launched a new chapter as an entrepreneur in the world of watch authentication. He founded Timepiece Grading Specialists (TGS), a Dayton, Ohio–based company that evaluates and authenticates collectible timepieces. The business quietly began operations in late 2024, and some high-profile auction pieces even featured TGS assessments. 

2. A Brief Return to Acting

Savage hasn’t been completely absent from the screen. He made a cameo in the drama series Three Women, marking his sole acting role since the 2022 fallout. 

3. Personal Life: Stability Amid Controversy

Despite the professional turbulence, Savage continues to reside in Los Angeles with his wife of over two decades, Jennifer Stone Savage, and their three children. 

4. The Fallout & Past Allegations

In 2022, Savage was fired from The Wonder Years reboot after multiple women on the crew accused him of sexual misconduct. He denied the claims, stating his commitment to safe workplaces.  His past includes two additional misconduct allegations: one in 1993 from a costume designer on the original Wonder Years (settled out of court), and another in 2018 from a crew member on The Grinder—which was investigated and dismissed.   

5. Absent from Cast Reunions

Savage’s absence was notable when the original Wonder Years cast reunited recently his absence was felt and fans widely commented on it.
