White Money Claims He’s “More Musically Exposed” Than Shallipopi and Offers Advice

Big Brother Naija winner White Money recently took to Instagram Live to share updates on his music career, which included an 8-state tour across the United States. In a viral clip from the session, White Money, born Hazel Oyeye Onou, offered his thoughts on fellow artist Shallipopi, expressing that his experience makes him well-suited to offer advice.

White Money pointed out that Shallipopi’s success isn’t necessarily due to vocal skill, but rather his unique swagger and charisma. “It’s not by voice,”

he remarked. “Shallipopi doesn’t have a wonderful voice, but when he says ‘Plutomanians’ into that mic, it’s all about the swag.”

Reflecting on his own journey, White Money credited his recent US tour as part of his musical exposure, which he believes gives him valuable insights.

I am in a good position to advise him because I am more exposed musically and entertainment-wise,

he said, adding that he’s open to advice from Shallipopi as well, but dismissed feedback from fans, stating they aren’t qualified to guide him on music matters.

White Money is among several former BBNaija housemates who’ve ventured into music, though mainstream success has been elusive. Yet, his latest statements show he’s as determined as ever to reach new heights, with Grammy aspirations still on the horizon.
