Wizkid Announces North American Tour for ‘Morayo’—Here’s Everything You Need to Know

Wizkid is taking Morayo on the road! The Nigerian superstar just announced a North American tour in support of his latest studio album, and fans are already scrambling for tickets.

The Morayo Tour Goes Global

After selling out Berlin, Rotterdam, and Paris for his European leg, Wizkid dropped a teaser videoon Instagram, letting fans know that North America is next. The clip features playful customer service reps handling tour inquiries, with one joking that “People are grabbing seats like it’s the last plate of jollof.”

Wizkid confirmed the news in the caption:

“MORAYO LIVE! Coming to North America. Pre-Sale tickets today at 12pm local time! Use code MORAYO.”

The tour kicks off June 5 in Atlanta and will hit New York, Toronto, Baltimore, and Houston before wrapping up on June 22 in Los Angeles. The final show at the Hollywood Bowl will feature a special performance with the Color of Noize Orchestra, promising an unforgettable experience.

Morayo: Wizkid’s Tribute to His Mother

Wizkid released Morayo on November 22, 2024, via Starboy Entertainment and RCA Records. Named after his late mother, Juliana Morayo Balogun, who passed away in August 2023, the album translates to “I see joy” in Yoruba.

“Best album I ever made!! Now listen! It’s only up from here!” Wiz tweeted last July.

The 16-track album features star-studded collaborations with Brent Faiyaz, Asake, Jazmine Sullivan, Tiakola, and Anaïs Cardot. It peaked at No. 98 on the Billboard 200 and No. 4 on the World Albums Chart.
