The Nigerian superstar trails only the Algerian Raï legend Cheb Khaled, confirming the immense commercial power of African music globally.
Khaled, known as the “King of Raï,” remains the undisputed leader, credited with selling over 80.5 million albums and units worldwide, making him the best-selling Arabic-language singer in history.
Wizkid’s 65 Million Unit Milestone
Wizkid’s sales figures place him firmly in second place. Verified reports indicate that the “Starboy” has now sold over 65 million units globally across albums, singles, and collaborations. This achievement solidifies his status as the highest-selling Afrobeats artist in history.
