Shola Ogudu, the first baby mama of Afrobeats superstar Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has shared a surprising revelation about her pregnancy journey. In a candid interview on Maria Chike’s podcast, “Mum Next Door,” Shola disclosed that she was unaware of her pregnancy until she was already five months along.
Reflecting on the experience, Shola revealed that she was in her final year of university when she found out she was expecting her son. Her parents, who were deeply concerned about her studies, had been focused on ensuring she completed her education.
“I had my baby pretty early. I was in my final year at university,” Shola shared. “To be honest, I didn’t know I was pregnant until I was five months gone. My parents were concerned about my education, but I managed to finish university with good grades.”
Shola’s story highlights the challenges of balancing education and early motherhood, while also shedding light on her determination to succeed despite unexpected circumstances.
