Social media influencer Julieanna Goddard, better known as YesJulz, has spoken out against persistent rumors about an alleged affair with NBA star LeBron James. These speculations, dating back to 2014, resurfaced after a snippet of Drake’s now-deleted Fighting Irish Freestyle reignited chatter online.
The Rumors Resurface
In the leaked clip, Drake alluded to tarnished public images and family dynamics, which some fans interpreted as references to Kendrick Lamar and LeBron James. Social media buzzed with speculation, especially as DJ Akademiks claimed during a livestream that Drake and LeBron were involved in activities that could harm the latter’s reputation.
“Drake used to facilitate the h**s,” Akademiks alleged, even hinting at the existence of a rumored sex tape involving YesJulz and LeBron.
YesJulz Responds to Backlash
As the rumors gained traction, YesJulz faced taunts on social media, particularly after reacting to one of LeBron’s windmill dunks on X (formerly Twitter). Critics accused her of poor timing, with one user commenting, “This is the worst possible time for you to do this LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOO.”
Unfazed, YesJulz fired back, dismissing the allegations as “baseless.” She wrote:
“You really think I give af about ya’lls baseless rumors? Bron is my fav player and I will always celebrate his wins!”
LeBron’s Silence
LeBron James has not publicly addressed the rumors. However, his choice to sing and dance to Kendrick Lamar’s music in recent public appearances has been interpreted by fans as a subtle response to his supposed alignment in the Drake-Kendrick drama.
